David Hope - Interim Chair & Charity Governor

David Hope is an experienced Insurance   industry executive, having worked at PLC level roles for a number of years.   David is currently Chair of Trustees as well as serving on Brantridge School Governing Body.

Alison Smith - Charity Governor

Dr Smith is an experienced General Practitioner and has worked   for most of her medical career with a well established (10,000 patient list)   GP Practice in West Sussex.

Alison has a long established record of voluntary activity   including serving as a school governor as a school governor.    Alison has dedicated significant voluntary time to various local area of   Worthing and health service voluntary activities.  These   include serving in a variety of Honorary officerships   of influential committees and organisations.

Jon Barton - Charity Governor

Jon is a Chartered Accountant who spent his early career working in and managing small accountancy firms, gaining exposure to a wide range of commercial and not-for-profit organisations.  For the last 20 years Jon has led a number of Finance teams in medium size companies, predominantly within the Technology Sector.  In each appointment, Jon has participated on the Executive Board as Finance Director and Company Secretary, taking lead responsibility for not just Finance but HR & Personnel, Legal & Insurance, ICT and Facilities.  His recent roles have involved elements of financial turnaround, systems improvements and growth management, culminating in successful sales to much larger companies.

Jon looks forward to offering the benefits of his commercial experience, wherever they may be needed at Brantridge.

 

 

Cathy Lewsey - Parent Governor

Cathy has two boys at Brantridge, who have been there for two years now and are thriving.  She became a Parent Governor in 2014, as she wanted the opportunity to be the voice of both the boys and their parents when decisions were made regarding Brantridge School.  Cathy is a Parking Operations Manager, based at Gatwick Airport where she has worked for the past 15 years.

Cathy is also a local Assistant Cub Scout Leader, and is keen to utilise her training both with Governors and Scouts to help safeguard and improve the lives of all the boys at Brantridge.

Danielle Harry – Teacher Governor

Holder of a BA (Hons) in Religious and Educational Studies and a PGCE in Primary Education, Danielle has been in the Education sector for the past eleven years. Her experience ranges from Teaching Assistant to Class Teacher and Teacher of ICT.

She has been serving as a Teaching Staff Representative at Brantridge School since March 2010
