Learning Outside of the Classroom
Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt. It encourages people to get outside to find hidden boxes, called Caches. Geocaching offers Brantridge pupils the opportunity to develop their skills and learning across the whole curriculum. This ranges from the obvious links to Geographical field work and place knowledge as well as opportunties to develop social interaction, speaking and listening in English - to understanding coordinates and measurements in Maths and even Computing, as the boys log their Caches and navigate to the next one.
