At Brantridge we have a strong focus on E-safety and keeping pupils safe online. Each year, the pupils learn about ways to keep safe online, safe researching and about viruses and spam.
We have an E-safety working group which will meet termly to discuss E-safety issues and concerns at Brantridge, to review policies and to look at any new issues which may have developed.
At School we use a web filtering system to prevent the pupils from accessing anything they shouldn’t.If you would like help in setting up some filters at home which can help protect your children online, we'd recommend having a look at the straight forward instructions from Internet Matters - an organisation dedicated to keeping children safe in the digital world.
The Department for Education has also published advice for parents on cyber-bullying.
